Hi:
Thanks for the great links. On May 17, you show some links to a Jerry Bridges discussion he gives about his book, "Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts". The link to the 3rd mp3 file is incorrect. It should be exactly the same as the 4th link, but end in "...bridgesa.mp3" instead of "...bridgesb.mp3". Could you kindly fix this link?
Thanks,
Jeff
Jeff,
Thank you, I got it switched.
Hi Paul,
What a great site! It is sometimes difficult to find good reformed material on the web. So thank you.

Nick,
Thank you for your visit. I agree it is hard to find good reformed materials, especially MP3's.
So what is it like serving Christ down under in New Zealand?
Paul
Hi Paul. My husb/I are feasting on the great sermons by Jerry Bridges. Is there a reason why I am not able to access the first several sermons on the Wellspring Church 2005 link? Thanks for the great link to so many good resources! K
montrosemama,
Yes, there is a reason why you cannot access those 3 sermons from Wellspring 2005. They don't exist. I went to Wellspring sermon archives and they deleted the sermons on there side.
Paul
Thanks,
Some good classic material from a very balanced Bible teacher who obviously has walked with God.
(Some links don't work anymore, but still plenty of jewels still here.)
I am currently reading Disciple of Grace.
God bless.
Paul
ps. Quote from Discipline of Grace...........
"It's because we do not realize the utter depravity of the principle of sin that remains in us and stains everything we do, that we entertain any notion of earning God's blessing through our obediance. And it's because we do not fully grasp the fact that Jesus paid the penalty for all our sins that we despair of God's blessing when we have failed to live up to even our own desires to live a life that is pleasing to God.
Here is an important spritual principle that sums up what I've said thaus far:
Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace. And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God's grace."
Paul,
I too am reading the Disciple of Grace for the 3rd time. When I first read this book in 1995 my brother and I wrote letters to each other discussing how God was speaking to us in Jerry's book. I took those letters and put them in a booklet form and read them every time I re-read Discipline of Grace.
I was first introduced to Jerry Bridges when becoming a Christian in 1983 by a friend who let me borrow The Pursuit of Holiness. I was hooked and thus began my pursuit to be holy before God but it was not until The Discipline of Grace that I completely understood and grabbed hold of God's Grace through His Son.
Thanks for putting this site together and I look forward to listening and reading more from Jerry Bridges.
