The Schafer Family has been going through a lot of change lately. We have faced a lot of exhaustion both spiritually and physically this summer. My work at TAMU has been extremely busy and I have taken on extra tasks. My wife is in full-swing with homeschooling our daughter. I am currently involved in serving through our church in leading a discipleship class starting next week, leading our community group and helping out once a month in children's church. My wife is involved with the preschool ministry twice a month and helping me with the community group. Lastly, then there is the involvement in working on our marriage and parenting.
We are looking forward to our anniversary at the end of the month. We will be going to my wife's aunts cabin in Oklahoma for a weekend where we will have no tv or internet. We will take the time to become unbusied and relax once again. This will give us an opportunity to really connect with our Lord through prayer and reading/meditation of the bible.
